Full course description
International organizations are – or at least are expected to be – at the forefront of addressing the most serious global challenges, including climate change the war in Ukraine, and the global Covid-19 pandemic. This lecture will explain the ways that international organizations can add value and make it possible to achieve outcomes that governments couldn’t obtain on their own. It will also address why these organizations frequently fall short of their ambitious goals.
